Hey, I’m Nick👋🏼

I have been part of the Mankin Finance team just over 3 months now as a Loan Associate and I’m excited to continue building my knowledge and experience within the mortgage and finance industry.

What do I do? I support our clients throughout their lending journey and help make what can sometimes feel like a cooked process, a little cruisy and more enjoyable. Whether it’s purchasing a first home, refinancing, or building an investment portfolio, I enjoy being part of helping clients work towards their goals 🏡📈

Before stepping into finance, I worked in the NSW Police Force for 9 years. An experience that gave me plenty of stories, taught me how to stay calm under pressure, and showed me the importance of communication

When I’m not hustling at work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my partner Vanessa, travelling the world, watching Liverpool FC (YNWA 🔴), chilling with my little puppy Cosmo, and hanging out with the boys!

Hi all! 👋🏼

I’m Dylan, one of the finance brokers here at Mankin Finance. I just recently joined the team at the start of May.

I come with 9+ years in banking, most of it at CommBank and Commonwealth Private, so complex lending is where I live. Whether it’s residential, investment, SMSF or self-employed, I love working through the tricky stuff with clients to get them the outcome they’re after with a deep credit understanding of how to get things done!

Outside of work, I’m a husband to my beautiful wife Mia and a cat dad to two birman brothers, Yuki and Aiko.

When I’m not at the desk you’ll find me out on the motorcycle, on the golf course, or in the stands cheering on the Manly Sea Eagles (Manly 13+). I’m a big film and pop culture nerd, and I genuinely love catching up with friends and family whenever I can.

Better Business Awards 2026: Best New Office (NSW/ACT). 🏆 WINNERS!

Sorry for the delayed post on this one, we only just got our hands on the trophy!

This business started in July 2024 and for most of that first year it was just me, working out of my home office, figuring it out as I went.

We are now a solid team of 5 and the only way I can describe us is family. I am super duper proud of our team everyday. We work hard, we show up for each other, and we do it all out of that same home office lol. We could not make the event on the night but a massive thank you to LoanOptions.ai and Julian Fayad who picked up the award and gave a speech that honestly put mine to shame. Truthfully even if I were in attendance, and had the option i'd probably have you go up on stage for the speech anyway lol.

To everyone who has supported us along the way, the kind messages, the referrals, the people who just check in and say good things: thank you. We genuinely could not do this without you. We know this is just the start. Excited for everything ahead.

PS: Rob (our 5th and missing member) couldnt make the photo but you will see him around in future he promises 😂

👋 Meet the Team

Nathan Austin joined Mankin Finance late last year as a Senior Finance Broker.

Nathan and Michael previously worked together at Westpac’s Institutional Bank in Corporate Lending, so it’s great to be working together again.

Nathan brings 30 years of banking experience, including 12 years in executive leadership roles, with deep expertise across corporate lending, treasury and financial markets.

Having spent years on the other side of the credit table inside major banks, Nathan understands how lending decisions are made and how deals are structured.

Fun fact: Nathan played professional cricket in the UK 🏏
