While the market expects the RBA to increase interest rates today, it's likely not the only rate rise to expect this year.

Here are three things you can do to proactively manage your home loan:

Fix and protect Explore fixed-rate options that allow you to lock in your repayments for up to 3 years. My March vlog outlined the pros and cons of fixing your mortgage rate;
Rate review Ask me to review your home loan to ensure you're on the most competitive rate for your circumstances AND have access to the loan features you need (eg offset accounts, redraw etc).
Equity Review If your property value has grown significantly since your mortgage started, it may unlock a lower interest rate. Ask me for a desktop valuation of your home.
