In 2013, a man browsing in a Sydney op shop purchased an unusual cup for $4. Once he researched the origins of the unusual cup, we sent a picture to Sotheby's, who confirmed that it was indeed both rare and valuable.
The man had unknowingly purchased a 17th century Chinese 'libation cup' carved from the horn of a rhinoceros!
The cup went to auction and sold for $75,000! 😱

Investing can be confusing and scary when you first start out, so micro-investing platforms can be a great starting point for beginners 🙌

Micro-investing offers a low cost way to enter the investing game and diversify your assets. It works by allocating small amounts on money to fractional stock and some platforms even offer a 'round up' option, using the extra few cents to the nearest dollar to purchase stocks.
Make sure you're being careful about which platform/s you choose to use as there have been some red flags in the past on some platforms, but for the most part, micro-investing is an affordable and easy way to enter the investing market.

It definitely pays to do your homework on the property market before you dive in, and we’re thrilled to be on board to help you when it comes to financing your decision.
