Katie comes to us with a background in administration, client services, accounts and operational support with over 15 years of experience working in administration and accounts positions in the United Kingdom.

Today we say thank you.

On World Teacher's Day we take the opportunity to show our appreciation for Queensland teachers and the very important role they play in our families, schools and communities.

Our children spend more time with their teachers than they do with us.

We couldn't do life without the teachers who invest their time, energy, knowledge and support into the lives of our children. 💚

This morning some of our team started the day a little differently, attending the launch of the Future of Women in Business Report.

We heard whilst women's representation in the workforce has come a long way, research indicates that there are still barriers affecting pay, leadership opportunities, career progression and how they will retire financially secure.

One of the key messages from panellists, was this is a conversation for all Queensland businesses to have to ensure women have a workplace where they feel supported, encouraged to participate, progress and lead.

Xanana and Bec stepped out of the office for a peek behind the scenes and a chance to catch up with fellow Chamber members yesterday.
