Two days, plenty of conversations and a full program of ideas, insights and industry discussion. That’s a wrap on the 2026 SCA (Vic) Symposium.

Phil and Alek have had a fantastic couple of days representing Firstrata Finance at Marvel Stadium and being part of an event that brought so much of Victoria’s strata community together in one place.

A huge thank you to the Strata Community Association (VIC) team for delivering such a strong Symposium and to everyone who made the time to stop by the Firstrata stand over the two days.

We’re heading home with plenty to reflect on, some great conversations to continue and an even stronger appreciation for the people driving the strata industry forward.

Day 1 of the SCA (Vic) Symposium is well underway at Marvel Stadium.

Phil and Alek have been busy catching up with industry colleagues, meeting plenty of new faces and having some great conversations with leaders from across Victoria’s strata sector.

With today’s program focused on the issues shaping our industry, from leadership and financial decision making to compliance, ethics and the future of strata, there is plenty to discuss both inside the sessions and out on the exhibition floor.

One of the biggest nights on Victoria’s property calendar is almost here.

Firstrata Finance is proud to be an Official Supporting Partner of the 2026 Real Estate Institute of Victoria [REIV] Awards for Excellence, taking place at Crown Palladium on 22 October.

The Awards bring together Victoria’s property industry to recognise outstanding achievement, leadership and professionalism, and this year there is even more to celebrate as REIV marks an incredible 90 years.

A big Saturday at the High Life Expo for Alek and Firstrata Finance.

Across the day, Alek had the chance to meet apartment owners, committee members and industry professionals, answering questions and having some great conversations about the realities of funding major works in strata.

From understanding different finance options to exploring how solutions such as the Firstrata Hybrid Loan® can give owners greater flexibility, it was a valuable opportunity to speak directly with the people making these decisions in their own buildings.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a conversation, asked a question or simply came over to say hello.

And a big thank you to the highlife.expo team and organisers for putting together such a valuable event and creating a great space for the apartment community to connect, learn and share ideas.
