Sometimes the best stops are the ones you don’t plan. 🚐💨

Pulled up beside the water last night and it ended up being the perfect spot. Plenty of room, plenty of privacy, water right beside the van and absolute peace and quiet.

Got the electric skateboard out for a ride, explored the little country lanes, then just chilled by the lake.

No bookings. No real plan. Just another stop along the way as I slowly make my way towards Dover and the ferry to Europe. 🇬🇧➡️🇪🇺

Starting to think this is what van life is really about — finding these little spots along the way. 👌

Straight to a rugby field.

There’s just something about standing under the posts, kicking a footy and clearing your head. No noise, no pressure—just getting the body moving, the dopamine flowing, and enjoying the moment.

It might be bloody freezing compared to Thailand, but it feels good to be back out here.

Bangkok ➝ Dubai ➝ Manchester.

I’ve flown First Class with British Airways and Business Class with plenty of airlines over the years, but Emirates First Class is on another level.

Having a hot shower at 30,000 feet is something everyone should experience at least once in their life.

The funny part? They had caviar, Dom Pérignon and some of the finest food you could imagine… and all I wanted were the beef burger sliders. 😂🍔

One of the flight attendants had a laugh because, with all that luxury on offer, I kept ordering sliders.

Now the European road trip begins. 🚐🇬🇧🇫🇷

One thing I love about living in Thailand is seeing how quickly things change. 🇹🇭

This afternoon I went for a walk around my neighbourhood, camera in hand, just taking in the different homes, architecture and little streets I call home.

In just 12 months, it’s amazing how much has changed. New builds, renovations, fresh ideas and people investing in the area. It’s not just our own projects—it’s the whole neighbourhood evolving.

It’s pretty special watching a place grow while you’re part of the journey.

Sometimes it’s worth slowing down, getting off the main road and appreciating the little things around you.

Another Thai lesson done. 🇹🇭

If I’m being honest, I still can’t put together a proper sentence in Thai… but I’m starting to recognise more and more words every week.

Hopefully one day my brain will stop trying to process 100 different thoughts at once and actually line all these words up in the right order. 😂

Until then, I’ll keep turning up, keep learning, and keep challenging myself. It’s great for keeping the brain active, and I’m lucky to have an incredibly patient Thai teacher who somehow manages to keep me on track.

Progress isn’t always obvious, but every lesson is another step forward.

Believe it or not… I actually hate being in front of the camera. 😂

I’d much rather be the bloke behind the scenes getting s**t done than standing in front of a lens.

But if making these videos helps show people what’s actually possible here in Thailand, then it’s worth stepping outside my comfort zone.

In this video we’re walking through a complete shell of a house… then showing what that same vision can become when you’ve got the right team around you.

There’s always someone on the expat pages saying…
“You can’t buy here.”
“You can’t renovate here.”
“It’s all too hard.”

The reality? You absolutely can.

With the right people, the process is a lot simpler than most think.

One of those days that reminds you why I love living in Thailand. 🇹🇭

Jumped on the Vespa this morning and spent the day exploring some new roads, mountains, wetlands and a few quiet places I’d never stopped at before. Finished it off catching up for lunch, then watched an afternoon sun shower roll through from the balcony.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday. 🛵☀️🌦️
