One of the best days on site this year.

This week, the Translease team had the opportunity to visit one of our mining clients, Tim & Zoe, following the award of a major new contract — a significant milestone for their business.

Translease was proud to support this growth by securing finance for multiple pieces of equipment, now operating on site and playing a key role in delivering the project.

Seeing the equipment in action at the quarry, and understanding how each asset contributes to the broader operation, reinforced the impact that the right funding can have at the right time.

It was also great to see Tim and his team in action — a clear example of why they continue to win work and grow within the industry.

A fantastic outcome for all involved. We look forward to supporting Tim on the next stage of his journey.

Translease attended the Commercial Asset Finance Brokers Association of Australia Women of CAFBA International Women’s Day event last week at the beautiful Doltone House Hyde Park. 💜

This year’s theme sparked some really important conversations across our industry. We heard powerful insights from Tracey Wickham about the ongoing impact of domestic violence in our communities and the incredible work being done by Friends with Dignity Ltd.

It was also inspiring to hear from Olympic swimmer Hannah Davis, who shared her experiences around creating more equitable and supportive workplaces for women.

A great afternoon connecting with brokers, lenders and industry partners while supporting such an important cause. 💜

We are back and what a great start to February 🙌

Over the past week, we have been working closely with YellowGate Group on a unique scenario for a mining client operating in both wet and dry hire. We were exploring the possibility of a rent-to-own solution—and then, as these things often do, the situation escalated quickly.

Late Thursday night, we received a call: a new job had just landed, equipment needed to be sourced, financed, and delivered to site by Tuesday for operations to commence. From that moment, Justin at YellowGate Group and Chanel went straight into action.

By Friday morning, a full application was submitted. Justin immediately made the necessary calls, sourced a 2017 Caterpillar 980M Wheel Loader, completed all required checks with the credit team, and kept things moving at pace. The equipment was inspected over the weekend, approval came through on Monday, documents were finalised, settlement completed, supplier paid via RTGS—and by Monday night, the loader was on a truck, arriving at the mine 4am Tuesday morning.

The level of service provided by YellowGate Group was above and beyond anything we have experienced.

As a broker, truly understanding your client and their business is critical. Some clients move fast, need solutions yesterday, and rely on you to be ready at a moment’s notice. That means knowing which lenders are best suited, having up-to-date information, and being able to submit a strong, complete application within hours.
In situations like this, you need a broker who goes above and beyond — and a lender who does the same.

Today, we are definitely riding a high 🚀
