New client came to us to refinance their current loan to try and reduce their repayments to assist with their cash flow.

Loan amount $612,000
Interest Rate - 6.44%
Remaining Term - 28 years
Loan Repayment $908pw

Proposed Loan
Loan amount - unchanged
Interest Rate - 5.99%
Remaining Term - Unchanged
Loan Repayment - $868pw

This reduced their weekly repayment by $40 pw & saved them just over $58k over the life of the loan.

Bank client came to us for an interest rate review. They are not struggling with their loan repayment but were concerned that their interest rate was too high and wanted to see if they could save on interest without increasing their loan repayment.
Reducing the interest rate, keeping the repayment the same allowed clients to reduce their loan term by 3 years, which saved them just over $135k in interest.

SMSF Finance

We have recently refinanced some SMSF loans from major banks with ridiculously higher interest rates. The majors don't really want SMSF Loans and are relying on SMSF owners thinking they are stuck with them.

Our Easy SMSF Refi product is designed for straight forward refinance scenarios where SMSF clients have demonstrated an excellent repayment history.

These are assessed using the last 6 months repayment history, providing it is a dollar for dollar refinance (with a buffer for fees) and the interest rate and/or repayments are reducing. There is no need to provide us with a bundle of tax returns and financial statements.
