Congratulations to Fletcher Kibble who is a Finalist for Adviser of the Year (Qld) and SMSF Adviser of the Year, and to Mark O’Flynn who is a Finalist for Investment Adviser of the Year.

As a business, we are also Finalists for Self-Licenced Firm of the Year and Business Outcome Leader of the Year.

The benefit of long-term advice is often only fully understood with hindsight.

For us, the ability to completely understand our clients, their circumstances and their goals over a sustained period of time allows us to quickly and accurately make the best recommendations for them when we see policy changes or changes in personal circumstances.

The legislation changes we’ve seen so far this year, especially regarding tax changes on different investments, are a great example of where macro changes can have a tangible impact on the appropriate strategy for each client.

There aren’t many moments for our team that are more special than this one. Less than five years after opening our doors, Oxlade Financial has again been named as one of three Finalists for the FAAA Professional Practice of the Year Award.

This award means a lot to us because it recognises the people. And it is the people - the team and the clients - that define Oxlade.

We are incredibly grateful to the FAAA for the recognition, and proud to be standing alongside two impressive (and daunting!) finalists - Apt Wealth Partners and Solace Financial.
