Have you had to standdown employees?
Did you know that leave continues to accrue on standdown hours for part time and full time employees?
To achieve this you need to record standdown hours in your payroll even if the net pay result is $0.
Different software handles this differently. Below is a link to how to manage this in xero.

It’s STP finalisation time! We are prepared and ready !!

Employers: We recognise the impacts of COVID-19 on the Australian community at present.

If you need a little extra time to finalise your employees' Single Touch Payroll data, we’re giving you an extension. You now have until 31 July, but it’s best to finalise by 14 July if you can.

Make sure you let your employees know when you have finalised their data so they can lodge their income tax returns.
