Not sure about you, but insurances are the bane of my existence. Now most people I meet have car and house insurance but many younger people don't have any private health insurance or ambulance cover.

NSW Ambulance charges a call out fee plus a fee per km based on the distance that the ambulances travels based on the round trip between the ambulance station, pick up address, destination and return to the ambulance station.

If you needed an ambulance will you be ending up with a financial headache too.

Most people only buy one or two homes in their life time and for some people they are the first in their family to buy a home so it’s stand to reason, if it’s not something you do everyday, that you maybe sure of the process.

As an avid sports fan I am so excited for both the CommBank Matildas and the NRLW Origin players, that Aussies have gotten behind our girls to sell out both games in the one week. You can’t be what you can’t see.
To those that have tickets to either or both games - good on you, the only way to provide more opportunities to our girls is to put bums on seats or turn on the TV and show those that matter that the demand is there.

It warms my heart to see women taking up the opportunity offered by the First Home Guarantee Scheme to purchase their first homes. Teachers and Nurses are taking up this opportunity in record numbers. Since its inception 8,800 teachers and 7,200 nurses have purchased their first homes. The 150,000th participant was a single mother who works as a nurse in Victoria.

Most people by their early 20’s will become known to credit agencies.
Why? Well because it is a reciprocal user model - in order for a potential creditor to receive information about you they must provide the details of the application you are making.
For example if you are applying for a mobile phone plan the provider will want to see that you are a good credit risk and will pay the bill so they will complete a credit check on you and in doing so provide the credit agency with details of the plan you are applying for.
How can you protect your credit file?
Keep your identification safe.

Ensure that you make the payments on any debts on time.

Be careful when you tick a box online agreeing to terms and conditions, that you are not providing permission for a credit check to be completed, multiple enquiries in a short space of time can have a significant impact.
