A simple question can make a bigger difference than we realise.

We spend so much of our lives at work, and sometimes the people we see every day are the ones who might need us to notice when something doesn’t seem quite right.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes it’s simply about asking “Are you OK?”, genuinely listening and making time to check in again.

Today is a great reminder that these conversations shouldn’t happen just once a year.

Such a great day at the Proprietary Lending Excellence Conference!

Really exciting to hear about the upcoming changes across lending at Commonwealth Bank and what’s ahead as we continue to improve the experience for our customers and the people we work with.

A day full of insights, new ideas and plenty to be excited about for the future of lending, made all the better by getting to spend the day with some great colleagues!

We swapped our desks and cars for high-vis vests last Friday and spent the day volunteering at Foodbank.

It was a rewarding experience helping sort and prepare food for Australians doing it tough. With 1 in 3 Australian households experiencing food insecurity in the past year, the work Foodbank does has never been more important.

Thank you to the Foodbank team for welcoming us and for the incredible work you do every day. It was a great reminder that even one day of volunteering can contribute to making a meaningful difference.
