🏆 Well, this is a bit surreal...

My Expert® Car Loans has been awarded the Fintelligence Year-on-Year % Growth Award and if I'm honest, I think this is my first award since winning the Talent Quest at the Noble Park Footy Club about 30 years ago! 😂

Thankfully, there was no singing required for this one.

In all seriousness, while My Expert® Car Loans has been a team of one until recently, this achievement reflects the support, encouragement and trust of so many people who have been part of the journey.

To my amazing My Expert Australia team, thank you for your support and for continuing to trust me with your clients. Every referral, every conversation and every opportunity you've sent my way has helped build this part of our business into what it is today.

And then there's Brett Wadelton ❤️

Not only is he my husband, but he's also been my biggest cheerleader from day one. When we introduced car finance into the business, I was learning something completely new. Brett never doubted me for a second. He encouraged me to back myself, gave me the confidence to take on a new challenge and has always been the first person celebrating the wins and helping me through the tough days.

Having someone who believes in you, sometimes more than you believe in yourself, is a pretty special thing.

🏆 We're Finalists!

I am incredibly proud to share that My Expert® Car Loans has been named a finalist in the Fintelligence Broker Awards FY26 for Group YoY Growth Rate.

This award recognises year-on-year business growth, and being named a finalist is a milestone that means so much to us.

While My Expert Australia has been helping Australians achieve their financial goals for more than 20 years under Brett's leadership, our car and personal loan division only began in 2022 as an additional service for our valued mortgage clients.

When we launched the division, I decided to step out from behind the scenes and learn an entirely new industry from scratch. After years supporting the business while raising our boys and being actively involved in our local community, it was both exciting and a little daunting.

I settled my first asset finance deal in 2023.

Fast forward to today, and we're now continuing to grow, mentoring future talent and working towards the next phase of the business.
