Since 2002 we have contributed more than $2.4m to community groups, returned over $800,000 as dividends to shareholders, opened more than 10,000 bank accounts, approved loans in excess of $60 million, employed more than 55 local Hills people and had the active guidance of 35 local Hills people in their role as a director of our community bank. We provide banking services throughout the Shire of Mundaring and adjacent townships stretching east to Wundowie, north to Gidgegannup and west to Midland. Over the years we have supported hundreds of local community groups including sporting groups, playgroups, schools, choirs, bands, local residents groups, our Chamber of Commerce, Guides, Scouts, seniors, environment groups, youth groups and many, many more. What a spectacular evening at the Slow Food Swan Valley and Eastern Regions Inaugural Dinner on Friday night!

Held at The Hub of the Hills, this exclusive seven-course food and w**e experience officially launched the 2026 Slow Food Festival Mundaring, showcasing the very best flavours of the Perth Hills and Western Australia.

Guests were treated to an incredible menu celebrating local produce, native ingredients, artisan foods, regional Thai cuisine, premium seafood, and grass-fed beef. The collaborative feast featured the talents of renowned chefs Vincenzo Velletri, Joanne Colijn-Dew, Dao Thanasothorn, Daniel Lyndon, Tyrell Stoodley, and Nik & Em Flack, perfectly paired with local w**es and spirits.

The evening was a wonderful celebration of the Slow Food values of Good, Clean and Fair, while also supporting the Slow Food Snail Kids Program. Congratulations to the organisers, chefs, producers, volunteers, and everyone involved in delivering such an unforgettable culinary experience.

It was a fantastic day of fitness, community spirit and enjoying the beautiful scenery of our Hills. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the connections, friendships and memories built through community involvement over the years.
