Voting in the City of Mount Gambier Council Elections has commenced and ballot papers will be hitting mailboxes this week.

One of our Financial Planners, Max Bruins, is again throwing his hat in the ring hoping to be re-elected for a second term. Max believes that dedication, accountability and commitment are all key attributes for the role and prides himself on being the only sitting member to have attended every ordinary meeting over the past 4 year term. With over 20-years experience in the finance industry, he brings a strong economic background to the table.

The financial planning team at Galpins Financial Solutions is expanding and is delighted to welcome aboard Max Bruins as a new Financial Planner into the business. Max’s arrival will complement the existing team of Craig Elliott (Financial Planner), along with support staff, Dani McKinnon and Hayley Burner.

Max commenced in the finance industry in Mt Gambier approximately 20 years ago and in addition working as a Financial Planner here in Mt Gambier, and for a time in Adelaide, his career has included running both the Canberra and Sydney offices for a large superannuation fund.

Max has a passion for retirement planning and thrives on helping clients put themselves in a better financial position in both the lead up to retirement and beyond. Max prides himself on being approachable and caring and being able to explain, what may seem to some as complex financial strategies, in an easy to understand manner.
