No start and a service in Mirboo North this morning. The first car was a Volkswagen golf diesel that wouldn't start. The owner had already spent big on parts she was told she needed to get it going. Unfortunately for her it didn't solve the issue. This is when we were contacted to come out, after chasing a code back to a blown fuse then replacing it, also using the scan tool live data to see the fuel rail had zero fuel pressure we were able to properly prime the fuel rail and get it started. A $1 fuse and less than an hour of time. We will take the win for getting it going but it doesn't bring back the money wasted on unnecessary parts the customer was told were needed. While we were there we also did a minor service on her mother's Mitsubishi lancer pictured below, a little dusty but otherwise in very good condition. Lovely little car overall!

2018 Ford Ranger, customer tackled the job of replacing their own injectors, we were called out just to program them to the car. Love to see people having a go, unfortunately these days a lot of repairs cannot be finished without a scan tool. 🤖

The dog bus for Lucky Dog Farm Trips got a bit too hot yesterday due to a split coolant hose, luckily he was handy and was able to cut a small section off the end and reattach it to get by temporarily. We were able to come out today and put 2 new hoses on and put some fresh coolant in to keep the dog bus running smoothly! 🦾🤖

Callout for a no crank no start in Morwell this afternoon, poor bloke lives hours away. Unfortunately for him after testing we found he does need a new starter motor, though we were able to use a bit of old school know how and tap the starter motor solenoid while trying to start it and we got it going. A good trick to know in a pinch however there's no guarantee it will work every time and when it doesn't you're stuck. At least we could get him home today to organise the starter replacement in his own time! 🦾🤖

Holden cruze with intermittent no start and intermittent low power, ended up finding poor pin contact on the ignition coil connector. The 2 pins pictured that are pulled out were able to be removed without any tools, the locking tabs for those 2 pins were broken so they couldn't be pushed onto the pins of the coil pack properly meaning it had either no spark or weak spark. We got a replacement connector and so far no more issues. 🦾

Toyota 2uzfe V8 motor cutout on the highway and wouldn't start again, unfortunately we found the timing belt to be snapped during our inspection. Very unfortunate 💔

Terrific job doing the maintenance on my garden, very friendly blokes highly recommend 👌 if you need some yard work done you cant do better
