Getting solar is a no brainer. You can very easily cut or even eliminate you power bills with a basic solar system. Typically, the savings on your power bills will pay for the solar systems within 4 years. ⁣

This is part of the system I had installed at my place last month. I also opted for a battery; whilst the return on investment for batteries isn’t as great as solar, it’s a great thing to do for the environment - essentially taking my house off grid!⁣

Saving in 2021!

1. Automate your savings. Have your employer pay 5, 10 or 20% of your wage into a separate account every pay day.

2. Audit your direct debits! Go through last months bank statement and cancel anything you no longer want or use.

3. Have a goal in mind. Whether that be a car, holiday or rainy day fund, having a goal will help you get there.

4. Get your staples at Aldi! Whether you like Aldi or not, it doesn’t matter where you buy your toilet paper, washing detergent etc. (it’s the same stuff)

5. Get a reusable coffee cup. Many places offer you a discount, plus it’s great for the environment.

(if you have credit cards and or expensive debt, pay that off first!)
