Hmh Advisory

The hmh team got into the AFL Grand Final spirit this week with foyer decorations and our very own footy grand final lunch.

The September sunshine came to the party for lunch at Surrey Park along with a friendly kick of the footy. Back at the office, aliances were fairly evenly divided on whether Freo or the Lions will raise the Cup.

No matter who you support or whether you follow the AFL or not, we hope you have an enjoyable long weekend.

What does involving the next generation in a family office look like?

Recently, members of our Business Advisory team welcomed the next generation of a client family group into the hmh boardroom to talk through future tax and accounting considerations.

For younger family members, conversations like these with the advisers who work alongside their family are an opportunity to build their understanding, ask questions and become more familiar with the financial matters that may become increasingly relevant to them over time.

At hmh, we work with families across multiple generations.

Bringing the next generation into the conversation early can help share knowledge, build financial understanding and prepare everyone for the future together.

It’s Australian made week. And we’re proud to support many Aussie businesses including Humphrey Law & Co who featured in the .

Humphrey Law have been making socks wholly in Australia for nearly 80 years right here in Melbourne, Victoria.

You would have seen Humphrey Law socks in retailers such as Myer and David Jones, and they have an important contract with the Australian Army to manufacture all the socks worn by our soldiers.
