The 3 kilometre Dreaming Trail, located along the El Arish to Mission Beach Road, winds through beautiful lowland rainforest and towering licuala palms, creating the perfect habitat for the endangered southern cassowary. 🌿

Walk slowly, keep noise to a minimum, and take in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, patient visitors may be lucky enough to encounter these incredible birds in their natural environment.

Remember to admire cassowaries from a safe distance, never feed them, and help protect the habitat they call home 💚

Have you walked the Dreaming Trail before?
