We made the most of the beautiful morning sunshine today, soaking up some much-needed Vitamin D while we could! ☀️
The painting easels were set up outside, and the children loved getting creative in the fresh air.
There’s nothing quite like combining outdoor play, creativity, and sunshine for a fun morning at playgroup.

Looking for a friendly place to connect with other families while your little ones play and learn?
Playgroup runs every Tuesday and Thursday.

9:30am – 11:30am

Newborns to preschool-aged children welcome.
With plenty of activities to choose from, children can explore, create, and make new friends, while parents and carers can enjoy a relaxing cuppa and a chat.

🌸🐻 Teddy Bear Picnic – Mother’s Day Special 🐻🌸

Join us at playgroup Tuesday & Thursday morning this week for a sweet Teddy Bear Picnic to celebrate Mother’s Day.

We’ll have some yummy goodies for morning tea, plus a few cute props set up for anyone who’d like to snap some special photos of their little ones with their mum, grandma, Aunty or special person 💕
If you’re able, please bring a plate to share—we always appreciate it! And byo teddy to cuddle too.

We can’t wait to see you there! 🧺🐻

Also, a quick reminder that we’re a little behind on memberships, so we kindly ask families to get signed up as soon as possible.

Looking for a warm, friendly place for little ones to play and parents/carers to connect?

Our community playgroup runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30–11:30am, welcoming children from birth to 5 years.

There are plenty of toys, games and play equipment to keep the kids busy, plus a warm heated indoor space(perfect for those chilly mornings) where you can enjoy a cuppa and a chat.

We also have a safe, fenced outdoor play area that can be enjoyed rain or shine — we even supply puddle suits so the kids can still get outside and explore.

The group is community and member run, so it’s relaxed, welcoming and shaped by the families who come along.

First 3 sessions are free, so feel free to drop in and see if it’s a good fit for you and your little one.

We’ve been a bit quiet lately thanks to a few pesky bugs doing the rounds, but we’re back and ready to finish the year with a smile!
Tomorrow is our LAST playgroup for the year, and we’re making it a fun one! We’ll be at our local Baromi Park for a special end-of-year playgroup picnic.
Bring along a plate to share, your picnic rug, and your happy selves as we celebrate the end of 2025 together. It’s the perfect chance to relax, let the kids play, and enjoy some good food and great company.
We’d absolutely love to see you there, let’s end the year on a high!

We’ll be holding our Annual General Meeting during our usual playgroup session on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Our playgroup is run by local parents and carers — and we’d love some new faces on the committee to help keep things running smoothly (and fun!). Whether you’ve got loads of experience or you’re brand new, your ideas, energy, and enthusiasm are always welcome.
Come along, enjoy a cuppa, a chat, and a play — and maybe put your hand up to join our friendly little team. Together, we can make sure Mirboo North Playgroup continues to be a warm, welcoming space for our kids to grow and play. 💛
