Purpose, motivation, and ambition come from having a clear vision of what you want to achieve. Goals don’t just happen by chance, they’re the result of consistently working towards something bigger. Manifestation is part of the process.

Back in FY22, during my first year in broking (started in Sep 2021), I set a goal to submit $30 million in new business. I ended up reaching around $24 million in just 7 months. Even though I didn’t fully hit the target, aiming high pushed me further than I would’ve gone otherwise.

Goals will always change depending on the stage of life you’re in, but setting them is incredibly important. Some of the goals I’ve set now are significant, and while I may not achieve all of them, I still believe I’ll accomplish all of them (except the alcohol, this didn’t get past Jan, I’ll move this to July). With still 7 months to go in the year, keep chasing.

Set your goals, and even if you fall short, you’ll still land on the moon
