Did you know?

In Australia if you import products from overseas you are deemed as the manufacturer. This means that if a product that you have imported causes injury or illness to one of your customers you could be held legally liable.

Today we attended the .glimmerofhope luncheon to help raise awareness and funds for miscarriage and stillbirth. Such an important cause and one that is close to our heart.

In Australia, every year around 110,000 families experience a miscarriage, a further 2,200 endure the pain of stillbirth and a staggering 600 lose their baby in the first 28 days after birth. The Glimmer Project is such a great resource for people at this unbearable time.

It is extremely important that the business description on your Insurance policy is correct and upto date.

If the business description is incorrect and you are performing activities that are not declared to your insurer, your policy may not respond in the event of a claim.

This is a big problem that we see with online quotations as you may just pick a drop down occupation that does not include all of your activities.

The type of work you perform has a big impact on your Public Liability Insurance Policy.

Some activities are classed as high risk as they are more likely to cause injury or damage.

Also the locations you work in also are a major rating factor for your insurance policy. For example, Construction sites, mine sites and large industrial sites are considered to be high risk locations.
