Late night chats, the kids running wild with their cousins, the hugs that linger a little longer because you know change is coming.

These last weeks have been full of quality time with our favourite humans, and wow, we feel it. Grateful. Emotional. Absolutely exhausted. But so loved.

While the house has been packed up, what we’re really carrying with us is this. The love, the support, and the people we’re lucky enough to miss.

All the feels ❤️

No one said moving overseas would be easy, but wow, it’s a whole different kind of emotional doing it as a family. When I moved to the UAE back in 2008, it was just me, a suitcase, and a big sense of adventure.

This time, it’s a home full of memories, kids who have their own friendships and routines, and a life we’ve built that we’re gently packing up piece by piece. Excited, grateful, nervous, teary, all of it.

Ten years ago, I started The Organising Platform because I wanted women to feel lighter at home. To shift the guilt around quietly accumulated clutter, and create calmer homes that are easy to maintain even in the busiest seasons of life.

I’d been there too. Overwhelmed in my own space, struggling to take action and let go…

Honestly, I never imagined where TOP would lead me.

Yet this year, my growing team and I welcomed more new in home clients than ever before. We also had the privilege of returning to support so many existing clients, helping some move house, others prepare to welcome babies, and others simply navigate really full, challenging stages of life 🥹

We also welcomed over a thousand of you into our new private community away from social media, creating a space where taking the first step feels more manageable, with ongoing support and live workshops to keep you going.

This year has reminded me again and again why I do what I do. Because of you.

At the core of everything we do is helping people live a more fulfilling life, with less stuff weighing them down. Less mental load. Less overwhelm. More space to breathe, reset, and actually enjoy being at home, no matter the season you’re in.

Looking ahead, 2026 will be a year of big personal change for me. There’s been so much happening quietly behind the scenes, and I look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks.

And I want to take a moment to thank my beautiful team. The care, effort, and heart you bring into every single client home is what makes TOP what it is. You show up with compassion, you work so hard behind the scenes, and you make our clients feel supported, never judged. I truly couldn’t do this without you, and I’m so proud of what we’ve built together.

To every client and community member who has walked alongside me, trusted the process, and taken action in their own homes, thank you. I’m ending the year feeling grateful, humbled, and so excited for what’s next.

When you’ve done three overseas trips solo with the kids to reunite with Dad, you either learn to pack well, or you lose your mind.

This year has been a wild ride of passports, goodbyes and airport reunions in different corners of the world 🌍✈️

Adam’s work has always taken him overseas and, honestly, the sacrifice is real for all of us. He misses so many of the big moments, and all the tiny everyday ones in between. So whenever we can, we build a trip around his work adventures. It gives us something to look forward to and a chance to turn the distance into memories.

Somewhere in the chaos, I’ve become a master at packing for holidays. Especially because most of the prep, planning and travelling has been solo with the kids.

One thing I know for sure… 2026 is going to be FULL of new adventures… I can’t wait to share what’s on our horizon ✈️

The trick to decluttering with kids? Shift the focus from what they’re losing… to what they’re about to gain on Christmas morning, and who they can help along the way.

We did a quick reset in the kids’ rooms this week and had some really beautiful chats about their toys, how lucky we are, and all the things we’re grateful for.

We talked about what they actually enjoy, what’s no longer fun, what they’re excited to make space for with Santa on the way, and which toys could be passed on to kids who might not have much this Christmas.

When kids understand the “why”, their generosity really shines.

A little edit now means more space, less overwhelm, and a much calmer Christmas morning for everyone 🎄✨
