So excited to share this incredible review from Variety for A. Rimbaud.

I absolutely loved casting this beautiful and deeply original production and honestly could not be prouder watching what is happening with this film. Seeing the sold out screenings, the extended New York run at the Roxy and the extraordinary audience response has been so wonderful to watch unfold.

Australian actor Blake Draper is extraordinary in the film, carrying this ambitious and remarkable piece under the brilliant direction of Patrick Wang. It was such a privilege to be part of a film that is creating such genuine conversation with audiences around the world.

Independent films like this are so special and so rare, and I’m just incredibly proud of the entire team behind it.

I’m so incredibly excited to be joining the team at Lonely Hill Films, casting and producing the Australian feature film Kennedy. 🎬❤️

Inspired by the remarkable true story of Bridget Tobin, this powerful woman’s story instantly connected with me through its heart, strength and resilience. It is such a beautiful, emotional and inspiring piece and I truly feel so grateful and proud to now be part of bringing it to the screen.

Beautiful words from Keith Uhlich on feature film A. Rimbaud and the extraordinary collaboration between Patrick Wang and Blake Draper ✨ Currently screening in New York 🍿❤️

“A performance that at first blush feels vaguely raw and ragged… and by the end so precise in its every choice and effect that the full scope of Wang and Draper’s collaborative effort becomes awe-strikingly evident.”

Could not be prouder of Blake carrying this entire film onscreen in such a fearless, vulnerable and deeply moving performance. Such an extraordinary achievement for any actor and so exciting seeing his work recognised internationally. 💫

And huge congratulations to Patrick Wang whose vision, writing and direction are so unique, intimate and deeply human. Patrick is such a thoughtful filmmaker and storyteller and I absolutely loved collaborating with him on this project. The way he creates cinema feels incredibly uncompromising, honest and original, and A. Rimbaud is such a beautiful example of that. 💙

I absolutely loved casting this beautiful and completely original piece of cinema and it’s so exciting seeing audiences connect with the film in such a profound way.

Loved casting A. Rimbaud 💙✨ So excited this beautiful film is screening in New York on May 12, 18 & 26 at the gorgeous Roxy Cinema.

Massive congratulations to the brilliant who is just extraordinary in this, carrying the entire film as the sole actor… truly something so special 💫

Written and directed by the incredible Patrick Wang, who I absolutely loved collaborating with on this. Such a beautiful filmmaker and storyteller and this film really stays with you… a real labour of love filmed in Canada and such a unique piece of cinema.

And I honestly feel so blessed, lucky and proud to be a mum myself. Being a mum has brought the most incredible love, joy and meaning into my life and I truly cherish it every single day ✨

We will definitely miss my beautiful dad Jamie today too… Mother’s Day was one of his favourite family days and I can just picture him with that cheeky smile and laugh of his ❤️

Today we said our final goodbye.

I honestly can’t imagine life without you… my heart is broken. But I feel so lucky to have had you as my dad always there, ❤️
