Australia's poultry industry has done the hard work coming through the H7 outbreaks. But the biosecurity threat hasn't gone away. H5N1 the strain currently circulating globally, can arrive via migratory birds, and free-range systems carry the highest exposure risk.

A biosecurity event isn't just a health issue. It's a business interruption event. Depopulation costs, income loss during standdown periods, restocking expenses, these are real financial exposures that a specialist poultry policy should address.
