Many Hands International

22/09/2026

Many Hands International has formally closed.

Over 15 years of collaboration with communities in Lautém, we shared countless creative and cultural programs, events and experiences, and created resources celebrating local knowledge, stories and traditions. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed—the artists, cultural custodians, community members, staff, volunteers, partners and supporters who made this work possible.

During our final years of operation, we supported the community to establish the Lautém Cultural Alliance to carry this work forward. This membership-based organisation is led by the Lautém community, and all cultural resources created through Many Hands International have now been passed into its care.

You can access these resources through the Alliance’s website:
https://aliansakulturalautem.org/

This page will remain public as a record of our shared journey, but will no longer be actively maintained.

Thank you for being part of Many Hands International.

Obrigada barak.
