We’re pleased to see Maritima Brighton featured by The Urban Developer, highlighting growing market recognition for design-led, wellness-focused residential communities.

In collaboration with Carr, Maritima Brighton brings together 84 residences anchored by the Maritima Clubhouse — the adaptive reuse of the heritage-listed Maritima House into an exclusive lifestyle resort for wellness, recreation and social connection.

Rather than treating the 1867 mansion as a standalone asset, it has been reimagined as the organising heart of the community, shaping the homes, landscape and shared experience.

As Golden Age Group's Development Director Damien Hehir notes, “Our philosophy for this project has been ‘Brighton for Brighton’. Every development should respond to the character of its location.”

This approach is underpinned by strong market fundamentals. The Global Wellness Institute valued wellness real estate at US$584 billion in 2024, with forecasts pointing to US$1.1 trillion by 2029.

Carr director Richard Beel adds: ”Deeply integrated with its bayside context, the design of Maritima is defined by layered forms crafted from materials that echo the tonal qualities of the nearby beach.”

Last Thursday, we celebrated the Grand Opening of 130 Little Collins, marking an important milestone for the Golden Age Group and for Melbourne’s CBD.

The Lord Mayor, Nick Reece opened the event, noting the importance of projects like 130 Little Collins in shaping the future of the modern workplace and reinforcing Melbourne’s reputation as one of the world’s great cities.

“Our vision was to create a premium workplace that blends business, lifestyle and community in one address,” said Jeff Xu, Managing Director of Golden Age Group. “This project reflects years of collaboration and a strong belief in the future of Melbourne’s CBD.”

We were also pleased to hear remarks from Eliza Suffren, Stacey Van Harn, and Oliver Gabelich, who shared insights into the design vision and collaborative process behind creating a refined and timeless addition to Melbourne’s streetscape.

The building has already attracted a diverse mix of owners and businesses, including renowned restaurateur Christopher Lucas, with the evening’s celebration beautifully catered by Lucas Collective.

We extend our sincere thanks to Cox Architecture for their architectural vision, to Hecker Guthrie for crafting interiors that elevate the workplace experience, and to Mickys art for curating a distinctive art program that enriches the building’s character.

And of course, a huge thank you to the Golden Age team and the many consultants, partners and collaborators whose dedication helped bring 130 Little Collins to life.

We look forward to seeing this building continue to welcome new businesses and become an enduring part of Melbourne’s evolving CBD.

Are you living in black & white?

In a world saturated with colour, monochrome interiors feel like a breath of fresh air. They bring clarity, intention and quiet sophistication. Black and white—two opposing forces—create spaces defined by contrast, light and texture rather than trend-driven colour.

First celebrated in the elegance of 1920s interiors and revived for 2026—with naming the soft white Cloud Dancer as Colour of the Year—this palette feels both modern and enduring.

This design language comes to life at Floret in Glen Waverley with the unveiling of a three-storey, four-bedroom designer townhome by , presented in the St Germain Classic Scheme. Inspired by the understated glamour of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris’ 6th arrondissement, sculptural black and white moments are layered with tactile finishes and soft natural light, creating a home that is refined yet deeply liveable.

Set within the walkable heart of Glen Waverley—moments from The Glen, leading schools and transport links—this residence elevates the design language of Floret while offering flexible spaces shaped for modern family life.

Amenity has become a defining factor in how organisations select and experience office space. According to Cushman & Wakefield research data, 96% of tenant briefs seek office buildings offering a broad range of amenities, including third spaces and end-of-trip facilities, alongside high-quality, on-floor fit-outs.

At 130 Little Collins Street, this demand is being met head-on. Positioned as a next-generation workplace, the building delivers a cohesive experience from lobby to rooftop. Fully fitted office spaces are complemented by a curated suite of premium amenities, including business and social hubs, a terrace bar, lobby café, and elevated end-of-trip facilities with lounge areas on par with world-class boutique hotels.

With leading businesses continuing to move in, we are proud to see 130 Little Collins evolve as a hub for Melbourne’s most dynamic organisations—defining a new era of workplace experience in the CBD.

As the year draws to a close, we take a moment to reflect on a year shaped by thoughtful progress, shared purpose, and the people behind every outcome.

Over the past twelve months, we proudly delivered 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘁 Townhomes in Glen Waverley, welcomed purchasers into 𝟭𝟯𝟬 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝘀 — a premium commercial office building in Melbourne’s Paris End — and celebrated the practical completion and opening of 𝗦𝗞𝗬 𝗦𝗤𝗥, a new lifestyle destination in the heart of Box Hill.

We also unveiled the next chapter with 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻, a once-in-a-generation opportunity in one of Bayside’s most tightly held precincts, while 𝗪𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 Townhomes in Box Hill South continued to take shape. Each milestone reflects a year of steady momentum, considered decision-making, and deliberate delivery.

We extend our sincere thanks to our team, partners, consultants, purchasers and stakeholders, whose trust, expertise and collaboration continue to shape our work and elevate every project.

As we look ahead to the year to come, we wish everyone a joyful festive season, a restful break, and a prosperous New Year. We look forward to continuing the journey together in 2026.
