Sometimes I feel like a super broker !

Throughout the week I answer so many questions like;

"Can I buy with 5%?"

"Should I fix my rate?"

"Can I use equity?"

"How much do I actually need?"

"Can I buy an investment property before upgrading?"

"Will the bank lend to me if I had a missed payment 3 years ago?"

"Can I buy with my parents helping?"

"Should I wait?"

And my personal favourite...

"Sorry Nathan, this is probably a stupid question..."

Truth is, there are no stupid questions when you're making decisions worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I'd much rather answer 20 questions before you buy than hear one sentence afterwards:

"I wish I'd known that earlier."

So if you've got a question about property, finance, investing, refinancing, borrowing capacity, or just want a second opinion...

Ask away.
That's what I'm here for.

Sometimes one simple question can save you thousands.

What's the property or finance question you've always wondered but never asked?

Let's be real for a second.

Trying to save a deposit while paying rent that keeps going up is genuinely exhausting. 😮‍💨

You're not necessarily doing anything wrong. The maths is just hard.

But there are more pathways into your first home than most people realise. Government schemes, family guarantor options and lower deposit solutions could mean you're actually much closer than you think.

Let's sit down and work through your real options, not the hypothetical ones.

I’ll just go with my bank… it’s easier.”

Easier? Are you sure?

Your bank can only offer:
– Their rates
– Their policies
– Their products

That doesn’t mean it’s the right fit for your situation… just the only option they can present.

The difference I see every day isn’t just rate — it’s structure, flexibility, and long-term positioning.

Before you sign off on what’s familiar… it’s worth understanding what else is available.

What do you hear on the grapevine?

What I hear from my clients is...
- Supported me throughout my 18 month journey
- No matter how many times I contacted him... he was patient.
- Nathan took the time to explain every step, answered all my questions.
- His commitment and support gave me confidence as a first home buyer
- Very quick to reply and answer questions
- Nathan was across everything
- Explained loan options clearly

Can you say that about your bank?

Which you service you would prefer?

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make isn't choosing the wrong lender...

It's listening to too many voices.

You speak to your friend at work.
Your cousin who bought a house three years ago.
Your accountant.
Your bank.
Another broker.
Facebook.
Google.
Before long, you've got six different opinions and no idea which way is up.

Imagine walking into a wine bar and asking ten people what wine you should order.
One says Shiraz.
One says Pinot.
One says Cabernet.
One says don't drink red at all

By the end of it, you've had so many opinions that you're drunk on the sips!
Property and finance can be exactly the same.

There's nothing wrong with seeking advice and doing your research.

But at some point, you need one trusted source who understands your goals, your income, your situation, and your long-term plans.

Someone who can cut through the noise and help you make a confident decision.

Because clarity creates action.
And confusion creates delay.

How many opinions did you get before buying your first property?

👇 I'd love to hear your story.

Chasing interest rates isn’t Tinder.

You don’t just swipe left, swipe right every few months because you got bored or felt like a change…

Yet I see people refinancing over and over chasing the “lowest rate” like it’s some sort of dating app for mortgages.

“Ohhh look… 0.08% cheaper… soulmate material.”

Meanwhile:
- they reset their loan term,
- pay unnecessary costs,
- lose features they actually needed, and sometimes end up further behind financially.

A home loan should support your future plans not just impress you for 5 minutes with a flashy headline rate.

The better question is:
👉 Does this structure help you achieve your next move?

Investment property?
- Upgrade?
- Debt reduction?
- Cashflow flexibility?
- Family plans?

Because the cheapest rate doesn’t always create the best outcome.
It’s a bit like choosing wine purely because it was discounted.

Cheap can leave a bad taste later. 🍷
Rates matter.
But strategy matters more.

"Whine a bit, you’ll feel better."

“Refinancing isn’t just about chasing a lower rate; it’s about improving your position.”

Refinancing feels like too much effort…
I get it.

But most people think about it the wrong way.
It’s not just:
– Rate reduction
It’s also:
– Better loan structure
– Access to equity
– Features that support future plans

🍷 A simple review can unlock opportunities people didn’t even realise were available.

The question isn’t “is it worth it?”

The question is “what am I missing by not reviewing it?”
