Federal Budget Part 2: Negative Gearing

On the back of the federal budget changes negative gearing will only be available for:

• New builds & developments (ie off the plan, house+land)
• Already owned investment properties
• Homes converted to investment

Not available for:

❌

• Established investment properties (just purchased)

These changes are flowing through to borrowing capacity calculations.
