[Internship opportunity]
Scyne Advisory is seeking a Corporate Development & Strategy Intern to join the team from June 2026 for a 6-month internship with the opportunity to extend or become full time. The role sits within the Strategy, Business Intelligence and Investment team, working closely with the c-suite and leadership team on growth strategy, market analysis and M&A. This is a hybrid role, combining working from home with some days in the office, and offers hands on exposure to strategy and corporate development in a PE backed business. Interns will work closely with both Scyne’s leadership team and the Allegro deal team.
Key responsibilities:
• Market and commercial research across priority sectors and growth areas
• Supporting the development of group growth strategy and investment plans
• Assisting with the evaluation of M&A and bolt on acquisition opportunities (including market mapping, high level analysis and materials)
• Supporting preparation of investment, board and leadership level materials
• Assisting with marketing related to growth initiatives

What Scyne is looking for
• Motivated pre-penultimate or final year student
• Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills (including Excel and PPT)
• Interest in strategy, corporate development, M&A and investing
• Ability to commit for 6–12 months (part time alongside studies or as agreed)
• Prior experience in consulting, strategy, banking, investing or advisory is beneficial but not essential
