Parenting support for veteran and Defence families 💙

Parenting can come with unique challenges for veteran and Defence families, shaped by service, deployment and the transition to civilian life. These experiences can influence how families connect, communicate and support one another - often in ways that aren’t always visible.

At Soldier On, we recognise that supporting veterans means supporting families too. Our parenting programs are a key part of our health and wellbeing services, offering practical tools, shared understanding and a supportive environment for families to grow together.

Delivered nationally with the support of Defence Health, programs including Tuning into Kids, Tuning into Teens, Circle of Security and Lighthouse help parents better understand their child’s emotions, build confidence in their responses, and strengthen connection at home.
