We’re excited to share that our own Dylan Pargiter-Green will be presenting at Equity Mates Media FinFest 2026 in Sydney later this month.

FinFest isn’t your typical finance conference. It’s a festival built to make conversations about money and investing more accessible, bringing together thousands of people who want to learn more about their finances without getting lost in the jargon.

Dylan will join Alex Luck and Gemma Mitchell for the session Ask an Adviser: What the Budget Means for Your Money, moderated by Brandon van der Kolk.

Together, they’ll unpack what the Federal Budget means in practical terms and what Australians should be thinking about when it comes to their money and financial plans.

With around 2,000 people set to attend this year’s sold-out event, it’s a great opportunity for Dylan to share his knowledge and experience, and be part of making financial conversations easier to understand.

We’re looking forward to seeing him take the stage!

It’s easy to think of super as something to worry about when retirement gets closer. But as our very own Dylan Pargiter-Green recently explained in The Age, starting earlier can make a significant difference because your money has more time to compound.

For younger Australians, that doesn’t necessarily mean making large additional contributions. Even small, regular contributions made earlier in your working life have more time to grow, potentially taking some of the pressure off later.

Put simply, “Nurturing your super as a young adult means that, by the time you are 40, you’ve already done the hard work.”

Want to see what starting earlier could mean over time? Dylan recommends using Moneysmart’s compound interest calculator to model the impact for yourself.

Today is R U OK? Day – a timely reminder that the simple act of checking in can make a real difference.

Life has its ups and downs and while we don’t always know what others are carrying, a genuine “Are you OK?” can go a long way. Research shows that people who are asked regularly report greater wellbeing – and most of us feel supported and cared for when someone takes the time to ask.

At Bold Wealth, we know conversations about money, career and family often open the door to deeper ones about how people are really going. That’s why we value these moments and encourage everyone to feel confident starting them – not just on R U OK? Day, but any day.

Who in your world could use that simple check-in today?

Why is money still so hard to talk about?

An inheritance, a pay rise, a promotion or an unexpected financial windfall can all change your financial position, but talking about it with friends and family can still feel uncomfortable.

As Dylan Pargiter-Green shared in his recent conversation with Equity Mates Media, people will often have very different conversations with their advisor than they do with the people closest to them.

And that matters. Because when a significant amount of money comes your way, having a trusted place to talk through what it means, what your options are and what you want to do next can help you make considered decisions rather than feeling like you need to figure it all out yourself.

Money might still be a taboo topic, but perhaps it’s one we need to get a little more comfortable talking about.

You’ve spent years building your wealth and probably have a good idea of how you’d like it to support the people you care about in the future. But when did you last check that the plans you have in place actually reflect those wishes?

A will is an important starting point, but your super, beneficiary nominations and changing family circumstances all play a part too. As life changes, it’s worth making sure your estate planning changes with it.

In our latest blog, we look at why estate planning is an important part of your broader financial plan and how getting things in order now can provide greater clarity for the people you leave behind.

Meet the team - Bron Jenkin

Meet Bron, the creative mind behind much of Bold Wealth's content.

With more than 20 years of experience across executive and business support, marketing and communications, Bron works behind the scenes creating blogs, website content, emails and social media that help make financial concepts easier to understand. She's passionate about turning complex topics into practical, engaging content that helps clients feel informed and confident.

🎯 What's the most rewarding part of helping clients with their goals?
While I'm not the one providing financial advice, I enjoy creating content that educates and empowers clients. It's rewarding knowing that a blog, email or social post might help someone better understand their options and feel more confident when speaking with their advisor.

💡 What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Remember that you can't do everything and you don't have to. Focus on what only you can do, trust others with the rest and you'll create far more impact.

☕ Coffee or tea? And how do you take it?
I'll pass on coffee, but a good hot chocolate or chai latte is my go to.

🍽️ If you could have dinner with anyone (past or present), who would it be?
Walt Disney. I'd love to understand how he turned imagination into something that continues to inspire generations and how he kept believing in ideas that others couldn't yet see.

🌏 What's one thing on your bucket list?
Seeing more of the world. I'd love to hit the road in a caravan with my husband and Spoodle Willow and explore every corner of Australia. Then, when the time is right, swap the caravan for a European river cruise – I think every travel bucket list should include one!

Australian women are expected to inherit trillions of dollars over the coming decades, but with that wealth comes important financial decisions.

We're proud to see Dylan Pargiter-Green featured in The Age, sharing why financial education and open conversations about money can help build the confidence needed to navigate those decisions.

As Australia enters the largest intergenerational wealth transfer in its history, helping people feel informed, empowered and confident with their finances has never been more important.

Thanks to Dan Stapleton for featuring us on a topic we're driven to share with as many people as possible.

🧭 Why work with an advisor?

As life changes, financial decisions often become less straightforward.

Supporting adult children, helping fund a grandchild's education, managing wealth across generations and navigating estate planning considerations can all introduce new complexities.

While these decisions may have financial implications, they often involve broader considerations around family, priorities and long-term objectives.

An advisor can help provide structure to these conversations by explaining the available options, highlighting potential trade-offs and helping people make decisions with a clearer understanding of the implications.

Over time, this can help ensure financial decisions remain aligned with what matters most.

👉 If you're navigating some of these conversations or simply want a clearer understanding of your options, we'd love to have a chat.

Every now and then it's good to step away from the day-to-day and simply have the time to think and strategise.

Recently, Danny, Tracy, Dylan and Bill caught up to talk about where we're heading, share ideas and discuss how we can continue improving what we do for our clients.

We're looking forward to getting the whole team together for our strategy day later this month and continuing the conversation.

We’re a finalist. 🏆

What a way to start the week!

We’re incredibly proud to be recognised in the Professional Services category at this year’s Bendigo Bank and Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards.

To be named alongside so many outstanding Bendigo businesses is pretty special and a reminder of the passion, hard work and innovation happening right across our region.

Thank you to everyone who has allowed us to be part of their financial journey. Helping people navigate some of life’s biggest decisions is why we do what we do.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating this recognition alongside us. We’re looking forward to catching up and celebrating together at the gala in August ✨
