The 2020 Federal Budget, arguably one of the most important budgets since World War II, has announced a raft of initiatives. Funding for the National Disability Insurance Scheme has been guaranteed as part of the 2020-21 Budget. The Government is providing a further $3.9 billion to the NDIS. This extra funding ensures Australians eligible for the have access to the financial support they need now and into the future.

According to the final Quarterly report for the 2019/20 financial year, funding grew from $155.9M to $175.9M whilst the number of active participants with SDA funding grew by 7.4% (from 13,944 to 14,982) nationally.
