Often we will take a stab in the dark and ask "Any chance you bank with CBA and you checked your credit score on their banking app?"

Easily 95% of the time the answer Yes. 🤯

We then go on to explain that CBA uses Experian to generate that credit score which is the LEAST used credit reporting body in Australia. Generally speaking, less is more when it comes to credit scores. Therefore...

No one uses it = barely any info on it = high score

After that we check their Equifax file and find the issue.

If checking your credit report, please make sure you are checking Equifax.
