I have listed just a few new ways they are looking to assess what is acceptable and not acceptable to account for negative gearing. Banks are being proactive and therefore you should be speaking to your broker! Be a manufacturer of negative gearing and bring negative gearing back to your investment portfolio!! Time to change your thinking cap 🧢 the environment is changing. Be proactive when you’re purchasing your next investment property because with the new proposed budget no more existing dwellings will be benefitting from negative gearing. But if you’re smart enough you can find ways to still get it. No financial advice here, we’re in a changing environment and still waiting for the final stamp from parliament BUT banks are already proactively planning how they will treat your next investment exisiting home purchases… SO SHOULD YOU

A lot of people assume one default on their credit file means they’ll never be able to borrow again. I’ve spoken to clients who felt embarrassed, stressed, and thought home ownership was completely off the table because of past credit issues.
