Current and aspiring female boaters are invited to a fun and educational day at the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre Queenscliff on Sunday 29th March where they can improve boating skills, gain confidence and meet like-minded women!

The day will include FREE female-only clinics on reversing boat trailers - a great opportunity to learn tips and tricks from expert trainers about how to get your rig safely down the ramp with a minimum of fuss.

The day will also include a free marine licence course, providing new female boaters with the opportunity to take their marine vessel licence test after getting guidance from experts on boating basics.

The clinics are made possible through the Victorian Government’s Better Boating Fund, which reinvests boaters’ licence and registration fees into improved facilities and programs for recreational boaters across the state. The event is held in conjunction with the Women in Recreational Fishing and Boating (WIRFAB) Network.

If you are interested in this event, or in other upcoming boating clinics around the state (including both women only and all-gender sessions) you need to book a spot at: https://betterboating.vic.gov.au/news/make-your-boating-easier-with-free-boat-trailer-launching-clinics/
