Churches often stay on top of renewing their insurance each year.

But the building valuation underneath the policy can easily get overlooked.

That number may sit there for years, being carried forward — while the church itself changes.

Then something serious happens, a claim is made, and suddenly that figure matters enormously.

When was our church property last properly valued?

Individually, each change may not feel significant. But over time, the church you’re insuring today can look very different from the church that was originally valued.
