❓How long have you been in the industry?
Over 15 years in health and wellness. I started as a remedial massage therapist before moving into acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

❓What inspired you to move into Chinese Medicine?
After going through a difficult IVF journey myself, I discovered Chinese medicine and completely fell in love with it. I was amazed by how holistic and supportive it could be, which inspired me to study further and become a Doctor of Chinese Medicine.

❓What’s the magic that sets your clinic apart?
I’ve created a calm, peaceful sanctuary where people can walk in, close the door, and let the world melt away for a moment. I combine acupuncture, remedial massage, cupping and herbal medicine to create treatments tailored to the individual. I really hold space for people who are struggling or overwhelmed.

❓What types of conditions do you commonly support?
Everything from peri-menopause, anxiety and digestive issues through to women’s health and teenage wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping women slow down and look after themselves more — we juggle a lot.

❓What do you love about Chinese Medicine?
I love helping demystify it for people. Acupuncture and herbal medicine can support such a wide range of conditions, and because I’m AHPRA registered, clients know they’re receiving high-quality, professional care.

A: We’re a family-run building inspection business helping people avoid expensive property mistakes across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Pre-purchase inspections, pest inspections, new build stage checks, fast reports — the lot.

Q: How did this all start?
A: Dean has been a carpenter for 20 years. Sarah brings a load of digital marketing and business experience. After years of Dean being ‘on the tools’, they knew it was time for a smarter next chapter.

Q: What’s your point of difference?
A: Dean is an actual carpenter … not everyone doing inspections has proper hands-on building experience!! This can make a big difference when you’re about to spend serious money!

Q: What’s the secret sauce?
A: Husband and wife energy. Sarah runs the client side, Dean handles inspections, and together they care from first phone call to final report and beyond. No handballing.

It's not because banks aren't accessible. It's because having someone in your corner who works for you, not the bank, makes a real difference.

When you go directly to a bank, you're seeing one set of options - that you need to make work for your … whether they do or not. When you work with a broker, you're getting access to a much wider panel of lenders and someone who can match your situation to the right lender & product.

For women especially, that advocacy matters. Walking into a bank conversation alone, and feeling like you need to prove yourself is a very different experience to having someone who already understands your numbers and knows how to present your case.

I see a lot of first home buyers go out into the market without a pre approval, falling in love with a home, then finding out they can’t afford it.

The key is to understand your budget first - a pre approval allows you to do this.

Don’t be disappointed by searching in a price range you can’t afford!

Also another tip is to remember that as a , your first home is most likely not going to be your forever / dream home!
