With the AFL finals in full swing we take time to reflect on the fantastic year of our Maroochy Roos u/17 Div 1 GRAND FINAL WINNERS against their rivals from the 'other coast' the Burleigh Bombers. It was a great battle with only a 3 point victory!

Winning this grand final in the South East Queensland Junior competition (including teams from Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast) has been a fantastic achievement for our team and for Sunshine Coast Aussie Rules. We can't wait to see what the future brings!

We are so proud to be the major sponsor of this team. They worked so hard to achieve their dream on winning the cup!

A big thank you to the coaches, assistant coaches, runners, team manager and parents who have supported the team this year. All these volunteers have had such an impact on not only the team as players but as young men. It has been an honour to witness such a fantastic group.
