Meet the Maffra Mardi Gras Rotary Club of Maffra Fundraising Entrants 👇🏻

We’re proud to support the Maffra Mardi Gras and the incredible community groups fundraising for local causes in the lead up to the street parade.

Today we’re featuring the Boisdale/Briagolong Football Netball Club with joint entrants Demi Scriven and Josh Neille, who are raising funds to upgrade the club’s netball facilities.

Funds raised will support improvements to changerooms, umpires’ rooms, first aid and storage spaces, a children’s play area, and new courts enhancing facilities for players, volunteers and families across the Boisdale and Briagolong communities.

Fundraising activities will run from 30 January through to Mardi Gras Day on 14 March, and we encourage the community to get behind their efforts.

Today we’re shining a light on Tami Beechey from 1st Stratford Scouts, who is raising funds to support the construction of a new scout shed for the Stratford community.

From late January through to Mardi Gras Day on 14 March, Stratford Scouts will be hosting fundraising activities.

Stay tuned as we continue to introduce the amazing entrants taking part in this year’s Maffra Mardi Gras.

The Maffra Mardi Gras is more than a parade, it’s six weeks of community groups, volunteers and organisations coming together to raise funds for local causes, finishing off with a vibrant street parade of floats, food and market stalls.

We’re proud to continue our annual sponsorship, with our contribution awarded to the best floats in the street parade, supporting the creativity, effort and community spirit that make this event so special. 🫶🏻
