This month, the Gardian team came together for our annual Gardian Gala Night which is an awesome opportunity to celebrate the achievements, milestones and incredible people who have made the past year so special. 🎉

We were especially proud to see some of our team members recognised on the night!

🏆 Zac Thompson took home the Finley Smith Memorial Shield: Rising Star Award!

⚖️ Bridget Franettovich was honoured to receive the Balance Award.

❤ And, as a team, we were incredibly proud to be awarded Third Place for Family of the Year!

It was such a fantastic night to step away from the day-to-day, come together as one team, celebrate everything we've achieved. 🤩

Our very own supertsar, Zac Thompson, has been named in Mackay, Whistunday and Isaac region's best & brightest ✨🤩

Zac's insurance career started by following "one of his best mates" into the industry and has now florished into five years of a job he loves and excels at. We are so grateful to have Zac as a part of our Gardian team and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for this young gun!

July RIN Networking Drinks ✨🍻

Some of the Gardian team recently attended the July RIN Networking Drinks, proudly sponsored by DGH Mackay.

A big thank you to the DGH Mackay team for hosting a fantastic event. It was a privilege to hear from guest speaker Samantha from Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia, who shared an inspiring update on the incredible work the organisation does to support families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

It was great to learn more about the impact Ronald McDonald House is making across North Australia while catching up with so many members of the local business community.

At Gardian, giving back to our community and supporting is something we're passionate about. That's why we're incredibly proud to be supporting the Finley Smith Memorial Cup for the fourth year running. 🥰🏏

What began as a way to honour Finley Smith has grown into something truly special. The day is about so much more than cricket, it's about bringing people together to celebrate Fin's life, share a few laughs and support a cause that means so much to so many!!

Every dollar raised goes directly to Epilepsy Queensland, helping provide vital services, advocacy and support for individuals and families living with epilepsy.

Fin was a valued member of the Gardian team and will always be part of the Gardian family. We're especially proud that one of our own team members, Bridget Franettovich, founded the event and continues to organise it each year with the support of an incredible group of volunteers and supporters.

📅 Join us on Saturday 8th August, for a fantastic day of community spirit, great entertainment, friendly competition and fundraising.

Together, we can keep Fin's legacy alive while making a real difference for those impacted by epilepsy. 💜
