Logan Village, the City’s birthplace (settled 1863) boasts a rich and fascinating history. The picturesque “Village” rests on the banks of the beautiful Logan River. The Logan Country region includes Jimboomba, Flagstone and Yarrabilba, all developing areas. Over the next 20 years it is anticipated an additional 200,000 new people will call this area home. Our first Community Forum was held in October 2012 and with over 115 members of the community attending, including local, state and federal politicians, we were able to establish 10 key projects that are important to the people living in our local area. Including support for promoting the BRAKE driver education program, supporting the Logan Village Settler’s Day project and the introduction of CCTV cameras to improve safety and security in our area. From there we continue to partner with many community groups to allow the greater region to thrive now and into the future.
