Last week, Tammie, Ciara and Katie had the pleasure of attending the Long Lunch at Genesis Christian College.

The lunch was prepared and served by the Year 10 Food, Textiles and Technology students using produce grown on the school farm by the Agricultural Science students.

What stood out most wasn't just the quality of the food, it was the pride the students took in their work. From the produce they had grown to the meals they had prepared, it was clear how much effort, skill and passion had gone into the day.

It's always inspiring to see young people given the opportunity to learn practical skills, work together, and take ownership of a project from start to finish.

A big thank you to the students, teachers and staff who made the event possible. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of it.
