I’m sooo excited to be named a finalist again for the VIC MFAA ‘Young Professional Award’ đŸ©”đŸŽ‰ I honestly didn’t think there was any chance, especially after being a finalist last year and not taking home the win! So to find out I’m a finalist again
 I’m honestly just super excited and proud.

For anyone not in the industry, this category recognises young mortgage brokers who are making an impact, not just in terms of results, but how they look after their clients, build relationships, and show up for their community. Which makes this one feel extra special.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me, trusted me, referred me, and backed me along the way, it genuinely means the world. This is already a huge win in my eyes.

Funnily enough, I’m also in the same category as my dear friend Robert Staff, massive congratulations Rob, so well deserved. See you at the awards night!

A lot of first home buyers don’t realise how big the stamp duty difference can be
 until they actually see it.

Even a small change in purchase price can shift what you pay by thousands.

In Victoria, eligible first home buyers can receive a full stamp duty exemption on purchases up to $600,000, and a concession on a sliding scale for properties valued between $600,001 and $750,000.

Going from $600k to $650k doesn’t just increase your purchase price, it also adds over $11k in stamp duty.

That’s why it’s so important to understand where you sit, what you’re eligible for, and how it all impacts your overall costs.

It’s not about buying cheaper, it’s about going in with the full picture.

The end of one chapter
 and the start of a very exciting new one. Today we officially got the keys to our new office, and we couldn’t be more excited. 🔑

Our little office in Lara has been home for the past two years and it’s where Lara Finance really started to grow. We’ve had countless conversations, celebrated approvals, solved problems, and helped so many amazing clients from that space. But as our team has grown, we’ve simply outgrown it.

So it was time for the next step.

A bigger space, more room for the team, and even more exciting things ahead.

The new location will be revealed very soon
 and we can’t wait to welcome you there. 🏡✹

-Own car
