Biennially, the WSIB team comes together for our Company Retreat - an opportunity to step away from the office, reconnect with one another and strengthen the relationships that make our team what it is.

This year, we were fortunate to spend our retreat at The Lane Retreat in the Hunter Valley, working alongside the team at Pinnacle Team Events to deliver an engaging and memorable experience.

Over the course of the retreat, we participated in a range of programs and activities, including friendly outdoor team competitions, w**e stomping, discovering our DISC profiles, and exploring creative ways to use LEGO and storytelling to communicate and collaborate.

While the activities were designed to be fun and engaging, they also had a deeper purpose - to build on the DNA of Warren Saunders and explore how, as a team, we can continue to grow, collaborate and excel into the future.

We were also privileged to hear from renowned keynote speaker Luke Kennedy who shared his powerful real-life experiences and reflected on the role that resilience, commitment and integrity played in transforming his life. His story provided an inspiring reminder of the values that underpin both our individual journeys and the way we work together as a team.

All in all, it was an incredible few days filled with plenty of laughs, new experiences, meaningful conversations and, most importantly, time spent together as a team. We’re not quite sure how we’ll top this one, but we’re already looking forward to seeing what the next retreat brings!
