Lawn bowlers - i am running 4 qualifier events for The $100,000 Everest of Bowls.
Dates on the flyer.
Conditions of Play
Cost is $50 per event - once you have won a qualifier then you are excluded from any other of the qualifiers (or if you have won a qualifier elsewhere)
Players will be drawn into sections of 3. (one player will mark, loser of first game plays marker in second game)
winners from sections will be drawn into a knock out - with an alignment if needed.
Maximum players per event is 18. Minimum entries would be 3. Entries will be in multiples of 3 to allow for sections of 3.
Games to be played at DVBC on D Green - synthetic - where possible (otherwise A green)
Each game will be first to 10 unless the number of entrants allows for slightly longer games (by discretion of Cosi)
Where the total entry fee is less than $900 , the winner has the option to buy the remaining % up to 80% with Cosi Home Loans holding the other 20%.
ie if we had 12 players for a total of $600 the winner can play for 60% (of any Everest prize money) or pay $200 to take their percentage to 80%.
You can enter another player into the Everest on your behalf under what ever arrangement you like. Winners will also receive a Cosi Home Loan bowling shirt!
If we only got 6 players ie $300 then winner can just play for 30% (of Everest prize money) or put in additional money up to $800 (to receive 80%)
Players are expected to mark a game after they lose .... hopefully first to 10 will not make it too onerous!
