The RBA has announced today that interest rates will remain on hold.

The RBA has increased the official cash rate by 0.25%, marking the third rate hike for 2026.

Grateful to have been invited by People First Bank to attend The Adviser 2026 Better Business Summit and Awards Night at the Hyatt Regency Sydney yesterday 🏩

The daytime sessions were incredibly insightful, with some standout presentations including Richard Hopkins (former Head of Operations for the Red Bull F1 team) 🏎️ and Maxine Horne (Founder of Vita Group)📱

The evening was just as enjoyable – great food, even better company, and a chance to catch up with peers across the industry. To top it all off, we had an amazing view for the night, and Mecala winning the lucky prize draw from People First was the cherry on top! 🍒

Overall, a fantastic experience and a great opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the industry 🤗

We are now waiting to hear from each lender regarding when this increase will be passed on and the date from which higher repayments will take effect. If you’re unsure when your lender will apply the change, please feel free to reach out and we can confirm this for you once the announcement is made.

Yesterday Mandy had the pleasure of celebrating International Women’s Day with an amazing group of women at All Heart Collective – Morisset. 💜

There was plenty of sweating, supporting one another, dancing to the Macarena and Nutbush, and lots of laughter along the way. The energy in the room was incredible and it was definitely a vibe!

A big thank you to Simone from MJM Conveyancing for the invite. It was such an inspiring and fun way to celebrate the day surrounded by so many strong and supportive women. ✨

Events like this are a great reminder of the power of community and the importance of lifting each other up.
