🏡 Another RBA Rate Change - What Does It Mean for You?

The RBA has lifted the cash rate to 4.60%, the highest level in more than a decade. For many mortgage holders, this could mean increased monthly repayments as lenders begin adjusting rates.

So why the increase?

The RBA's decision was driven by ongoing inflation pressures, strong employment levels, and rising costs across the economy. With inflation still sitting above the RBA's target range, the Board believes higher interest rates are necessary to help slow spending and bring inflation back under control.

The good news? You may have options. Refinancing, restructuring your loan, or reviewing your current rate could help ease the pressure and ensure you're not paying more than you need to.
