Greetings
The transition of Antiquarian Angler from Brisbane to the Canberra region is now well underway. The whole family helped out with the stocktake and packing all the books ready for transportation south this coming week. Stuart and Kirstin are flying back to Canberra this morning to get ready. Gordon and Shirley will see the books off shortly and Stuart and Kirstin will receive them and start the process of stocking the book cabinets.
Stuart will be starting an Antiquarian Angler, Facebook group page that will allow all of us to post and share comments, suggestions and news items. This page will cease when the group page is up and running.
The Antiquarian Angler website is being updated with the new contact details and the inclusion of Amex as a payment method - we are just working out the final details. Stuart will send out an email when all is setup and the webpage is ready to go.
We look forward to your continuing patronage.
The Graham family.

John Stephenson wrote the book Rosewood To Revolution : The development of the centrepin fishing reel, This scarce book is the ultimate reference to the development and identification of this popular reel and is the centre pin biblefor tackle collectors. This book reflects on the rocky path to glory that culminated with the magnificent centrelines of the late Victorian era.

“ In every collectable category one group or vein stands apart from all others. Visibly pleasing yet conceptually simple, great investments in time and money have been sacrificed by many in their pursuit of perfection. The true centrepin is as fine a collectable reel as anyone could desire”......…. Introduction.

Privately published by the author at Stoke-on-Trent in 1993 this is a hard to find and highly sought-after book. Illustrated in colour and black and white photographs, it contains 287pages, has a soft cover and is in Mint condition.
