✨🐴 Community Bank Huon Valley is thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Huon Pony Club's Pre-Season Annual Show! 🐴✨

Huon District Pony Club will be hosting their Pre-Season Annual Show on Sunday, 4th of October.

The show is a great local event where riders of all ages can come out for a fun-filled day, parade around with their ponies or horses in a relaxed and friendly
environment.

Riders can showcase their riding abilities, agility and horsemanship in a variety of classes, including the novelty of dressing up in the 'Fashion on the Field' classes.

Huon Valley Financial Services Limited (HVFS) is a franchisee of Bendigo Bank and operates the locally owned Community Banks of Geeveston, Huonville, Cygnet & District and Dover.

Expressions of interest are now being accepted for a voluntary Board Chair and Board Directors. This is an exciting opportunity for a likeminded person with a connection to the region to join the voluntary Board of Huon Valley Financial Services Limited.

We're looking for people who can contribute skills, experience and diverse perspectives to help guide the strategic direction, governance and long-term sustainability of our organisation

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:
• Finance, accounting or audit
• Banking or financial services
• Governance or board leadership experience (particularly relevant for the Chair role)

✨We’re so proud to be able to share the story of our partnership with CTST - Community Transport Services Tasmania✨

🚙 For the last four years, our funding has improved access for our residents to CTST’s services in the Huon Valley. This vital service helps the aged and younger people with a disability to attend medical appointments, maintain their independence, and connect with their community. We're continuing our support this year with a contribution of over $68,000!

✨A big thank you to the volunteers from Huon Hoofbeats who gave up their time for last Sunday’s weigh day! ✨

🐴Community Bank Huon Valley’s CLO, Fiona brought along her 14’3 Quarter Horse, which turned out to weigh a whopping 522kg. Her 15’1 Standardbred also weighed quite a bit more than AI had predicted, coming in at 484kg.
